This research is motivated by the importance of mathematical problem solving skills and self-efficacy junior high school students during the learning process of mathematics takes place, so it needed a learning model that is able to improve problem solving skills and self-efficacy students. One model of learning that can be used is a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with Creative Problem Solving (CPS approach). This study aims to determine: (1) mathematical problem solving ability of students who get PBL learning model with CPS approach compared with students who get regular learning model; (2) The increase in mathematical problem solving ability of students who get PBL learning model with CPS approach compared with students who get regular learning model; (3) Self-efficacy of students who get PBL learning model with CPS approach compared with students who get regular learning model; (4) Increased self-efficacy of students who get PBL learning model with CPS approach compared with students who get regular learning model. The method used is the quasi-experimental method with the entire population of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Serang. Sampling was done by using cluster sampling. The results showed (1) mathematical problem solving ability of students who get PBL learning model with CPS approach is better than the students who get the usual learning model; (2) The increase in mathematical problem solving ability of students who get PBL learning model with CPS approach is better than the students who get the usual learning model; (3) Self-efficacy of students who get PBL learning model with CPS approach is better than the students who get the usual learning model; (4) Increased self-efficacy of students who get PBL learning model with CPS approach is better than the students who get the usual learning model.
