Ip, M.Si and Advisor II: Uliviana Restu H S.Sos, M.Si. News that shown by most television stations now isn’t neutral. News that does not make the content of the neutral between one group with another group becomes not balanced. This news is not neutral only confuse the public, not to educate the community. Reporting that is not neutral is also caused by the performance of journalists who no longer refers to the journalistic code of ethics. Different with KOMPAS TV, which news that shown is educational and independent news. KOMPAS TV has cultural organizations that serve as guidelines for journalists in producing the news. In this study, the authors examined the organizational culture is created and applied by the editor of news Kompas TV journalists to produce news programs that independent and educational value. The theory used is Culture Organization Theory reviewed by Michael Pacanowsky and Nick O'Donnell Trujillo. In this study, the authors analyzed the organizational culture of KOMPAS TV by using two assumptions Culture Organization Theory. The first assumption about the values of the organization. The second assumption about the use and interpretation of verbal and nonverbal symbols employees. The method used in this study is qualitative, ethnographic approach. KOMPAS TV has an ideology, rules, verbal and nonverbal communication that is well run by the editorial news journalists. Ideology, rules, nonverbal and vebal communication that well able to help journalists to produces news programs and independent educational value.
