- ABSTRACT Tiara Asnah : (2227111010) The Improvement Student Outcomes Through Using of Cooperative Learning Type Talking Stick on Studies Social Science. This research was motivated by low learning outcomes and student of activity class V elementary school with average value was undered minimum completeness criteria (KKM) was 67 of studies social science. The outcomes learning of social studies in SD Negeri Ranjeng most student where average aptained 38,5. Its because teacher are not teaching with method and variatif learning models so that many students who passive in learning. The purpose of this research is to improve the activity dan outcomes students with applied cooperative learning type talking stick. The method which using in this research is Class Action Research. Action in this study conducted by two cycle. Each cycle was performed 2 meeting which consist of four stage are planning, implementation, observations, and reflection. Instruments which using in this research are written test, observation sheets and field notes. Subject research are 28 students. It is indicated with increase percentage of average students outcomes from 63 on cycle I increase to be 79 in cycle II. The observation outcomes of students activity in cycle I is 75% with “good” category dan increasing to be 85% with “very good” category. Based on the result of this research cuncluded that application cooperative learning models type talking stick can improving students outcomes dan activity students in studies social science class V elementary school.
