Improving Student Learning Outcomes Through The Inquiry Method Learning IPS of IV Class SDN Cimuncang Cilik (Classroom action research on Gejala Alam discussion on subjects IPS fourth grade students in SDN Cimuncang Cilik Kota Serang). This study was motivated by the low students learning outcomes in subject Sosial Science Subjects (IPS). The researchers goal to be achieved throughInquiry method in teaching fourth grade IPS. The method used in this study is a method of Inquiry. This research is a class act that is performed in two cycles, at each cycle consists of four steps: planning, action, observation, reflection. From these results it can be seen the average value of student learning outcomes of the use og inquiry method for improving student learning outcomes in teaching fourth grade IPS with the results of the first cycle with 64,33 an average increase in cycle II 82,33 with maximum value of 100. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that an increase in student learning outcomes from stage to stage. Student learning activities in nature or appearance of the material can be called natural phenomena by using the method of inquiry can be seen from the results of the study at the end of the first cycle of 75% increased to 100% at the end of the second cycle. From the above results that the use of inquiry method can improve student learning outcomes in the discussion of natural phenomena in subject IPS fourth grade students SDN Cimuncang Cilik Kota Serang.
