- ABSTRACT Improving Student’s Learning Outcomes of Thrith Grade on Social Science About Money History, by Using Model of Cooperative Type Two Stay Two Stray (Classroom Action Research Toward Thrith Grade Students at Elementary School Serang 8, Serang City, Banten Province) Epri Ayu Pertiwi (2227111245) The research distributed by the low level of student learning outcomes in social science at Elementary school Serang 8, because of many student’s was speaking while the teacher was teaching and there’s no intercommunication between teacher and student’s in process of learning. The purpose of this research is to improve student’s learning activities and learning outcomes using learning model of cooperative learning, type of two stay two stray until it reaches at last 80% for activities and 90% for learning outcomes. This research is Class Action Research (CAR), when in every cycle consisted of two meetings, each cycle was done with four phase. Namely planning phase, implementation phase, observation phase and reflection phase. The data colection techniques in this study where by using test instrument, observations of teachers and student’s learning activities, as well as the interview. In the first cycle and second cycle the number of students who attended the class was 32 students. By the implementation of cooperative learning model type two stay two stray, student’s learning activities and learning outcomes increased. In the first cycle the presentage of student’s learning activitie was 72,5% and in the second cycle increased to be 97,5%. Likewise, the average students learning outcomes, for 84,37% in the first cycle increased to be 96,87% in the second cycle. So that conclusions can be drawn from this study that the implementation of cooperative learning model type two stay two stray can be increased student’s learning activities and learning outcomes on Social Science in thrith Elementary School Serang 8.
