  • ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the lack develop science process skills in students class VII A in SMP Negeri 4 Kota Serang. The purpose to comprehend the science process skills of students through the application of labwork methods on subconcepts animal kingdom. This research was conducted by researchers in November 2014. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 4 Serang. The population was students class VII in SMP Negeri 4 Kota Serang, academic year 2014-2015 with sample class VII A students 40. Samples were taken by random sampling technique. A data collection technique used observation sheets and scientific attitude questionnaire. The research plan to get a value of 3,46 predicates A-, observe to get a value of 3,15 predicates B+, classification to get a value of 3,47 predicates A-, apply the concepts to get a value 3,91 predicates A, communicate to get a value of 3,07 predicates B+, predict to get a value of 3,29 predicates B+, conclude to get a value 3,62 predicates A-. Scientific attitude questionnaire obtained very good results. It can be concluded that science process skills of each aspect of the overall averaged 3,42 predicates scored A- whereas the scientific attitude in the student questionnaire SB very good statement.
