- The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of poor Population and Household Consumption partially and simultaneously to the Human Development Index in Indonesia in the period from year 2009 to 2013. Data used in this research is secondary data in the form of data (pololing data). Data panel is a group of individual data were examined during a vulnerable time. The model used in this study is the linear regression model where the linear regression using cross section data and time series. Analysis tool that is used to process data by using eviews 8. Based on the results of data processing can be analyzed that the variable Number of Poor and Household Consumption jointly significant effect on the variable Human Development Index in Indonesia. It is shown with Fhitung 8037.364 produced greater than Ftable3.8046 is the confidence level of 5 percent, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted or variable number of Poor and Household Consumption simultaneously significant effect on the Human Development Index. it was seen that the value of R Square is 98,48 percen and 1,52 equal explained by other variabels.
