- ABSTRACT Melinda Sari (5551101645) Human Resource Management Department, Economic Faculty, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa with research title “The influence of Job Stress and Employment Development toward job performance at PT. Krakatau Tirta Industry, with advisor Mr. Dr. H. Wawan Prahiawan, SE., MM. The objective of the research are about the influence of job stress (X ) and employment development(X ) toward job performance (Y) at PT. Krakatau Tirta Industry Cilegon. 2 Meanwhile, the aims of the research are to know the far the influence of job stress and employement development toward job performance. The research methodology that used in this research are descriptive method and causality method, and the design of the research used descriptive design, exploratory and causal design, where the aims of the research are to give the description structurally, factual and accurate about the facts, characteristics and the variable relation that research and then analizing statistically to get the conclusion to experiment the hypotheses based on the data. Based on the output of calculation and analysis, we can get the range of influence between job stress and employment development toward employee job satisfaction based on the output of double regression calculation : Y = 26,470 - 0,325X Based on t test between 1 + 0,479X 2 job stress (X ) toward employee job performance (Y), got the output t count -2,791 > t table 1 -2.0058, H 0 = unaccepted and H = accepted, so that the job stress has the significant influence toward employee job performance. Based on t test between employment development (X 2 1 ) toward employee job performance (Y), got the output t count 2,692 > t table 2.0058, H = unaccepted and H 2 0 = accepted, so that the employee development has the significant influence toward employee job performance. Based on f test, got the output F (4,267>3,18), so H 0 = unaccepted and H = accepted, so that job stress and employment development have the significant influence simultaneously toward employee job performance. 3 Keywords : Job Stress, Employment Development and Job Performance.
