- This study examines the influence of GDP, Open unemployment rate and literacy rate on poverty in Banten, in this case for all of regency/ city in Banten province in 2008 - 2012. The purpose of this research are to analyze how and how much influence the variables GDP, Open unemployment rate and literacy rate on poverty in Banten which is expected to be used as a basis in determining the policies in addressing poverty in Banten. Data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS ). While the method of analysis used in this research is a method of linear regression analysis of panel data with FEM method. The result showed that during the time period of 2008 up to 2012 GDP, Open unemployment rate and the literacy rate significant effect on the level of poverty in regency / city Banten Province.
