- ABSTRACT Various advances and developments have increased economic development in Indonesia. One indicator of the success can be seen from the increasing value of GDP. The increase in GDP is determined by several factors, namely savings, government expenditure and private investment. This study aims to determine the effect of saving (S), government expenditure (G) and private investment (PI) to gross domestic product (GDP) in Indonesia. This study was performed using analysis method of Error Correction Model (ECM), the time of the study years 1982-2012. Software used is Eviews 5 and Microsoft Excel 2007. The analysis result shows that in the short terms in partial the variable of savings, government expenditure and private investment does not have a significant effect to gross domestic bruto in Indonesia. Simultaneously these three variable have a significant effect to gross domestic bruto in Indonesia. R ix 2 value of 0.429629 which indicates that the GDP variable can be explained by the variable savings, government expenditure and private investment by 43%.
