- This study aims to analyze the effect of preventive discipline and work safety on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable on employees of PT. Sankyu Indonesia International Section 7R KS Insite Cilegon. In this study, there are four variables, namely Preventive Discipline (X1), Work Safety (X2), Employee Performance (Y), and Job Satisfaction (Z). The study involved 92 samples of employees of PT. Sankyu Indonesia International. To obtain accurate results in this study using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. This research uses descriptive method, data analysis, instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, t test, intervening variable path analysis and sobel test with SPSS v20 calculation. The results show: (1) There is positive and significant influence between preventive discipline to job satisfaction. (2) There is no positive and insignificant effect between work safety on job satisfaction. (3) There is positive and significant influence between preventive discipline on employee performance. (4) There is no positive and insignificant effect between work safety on employee performance. (5) There is a positive and significant influence between job satisfaction on employee performance. (6) Job satisfaction variable is not an intervening variable for preventive discipline and work safety relationship to employee performance because indirect influence is less than direct influence.
