  • The smooth implementation of government and national development depends on the perfection of the state civil apparatus which in essence depends on the perfection of civil servants. Indicators on the discipline of civil servants in regional financial and asset management bodies are time discipline, work discipline, and dress discipline. Government regulation number 53 of 2010 concerning the discipline of civil servants, this is intended as a guideline for officials authorized to punish and provide certainty in imposing disciplinary punishment. The number of disciplinary violations committed by civil servants to date has made the writer interested in examining how the enforcement of the discipline of civil servants working in the financial management and regional assets and how to improve the discipline of civil servants in the financial management agency and regional assets. The research method used is empirical juridical research type analysis description. Collecting research data obtained from primary data that is data obtained directly from the first source, conducted by interviewing the head of the subdivision of staffing in the financial management agency and regional assets in the city of Serang, secondary data and tertiary data as supporting primary data. Secondary data contains primary legal materials such as legislation and secondary legal materials such as law books related to research and tertiary legal materials such as legal dictionaries. The results of this study indicate the implementation of discipline of civil servants in improving the performance of employees in the financial management agency and regional assets in the city of Serang based on government regulation number 53 of 2010 concerning the discipline of civil servants which includes obligations, prohibitions, and disciplinary penalties that can be imposed on employees civil countries proven to have committed violations.
