Colostomy is a surgical procedure by opening the abdominal wall to the colon to make a hole (stoma) above the abdominal wall so that feces are drained through the stoma. Based on data in Indonesia, corrective cancer ranks third with 12.8 per hundred thousand adult population, with a mortality of 9.5% of all cancer cases. However, based on a preliminary study at the Banten Hospital, corrective cancer cases in 2021 had an increase of 6 cases. This study aims to provide an overview of the application of nursing care in post-colostomy patients with deep breathing relaxation measures to reduce pain in the Banten Provincial Hospital. This research was conducted in January 2022 – June 2022. The method used in this study is a descriptive method using a case study with the research sample being carried out on 2 patients with corrective cancer with postoperative colostomy surgery.
