- Economic growth is a barometer of a country's development. There are several economic factors that can influence such as government debt and exchange rates. Government debt to be an alternative for developing countries to cover the budget deficit. In addition, the problem of currency exchange rates also affect the economic growth of a country. This research uses a quantitative research. The population of this research using time series data of government debt, currency and economic growth. Determination of the sample based on the data time series in 1983 until 2014, as many as 32 samples. The data used were obtained from Bank Indonesia and the Central Bureau of Statistics. The data analysis used is multiple linear statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that in partial government debt has a significant influence on economic growth in Indonesian, while exchange rates have a significant effect on economic growth in Indonesian. Simultaneously the government debt and the exchange rate have a significant effect on economic growth in Indonesian.
