- This research is a study of the Implementation of the Principles of Public Information Openness in Banten Province Government, which aims to assess whether the Main PPID of Banten Province has applied the Principles in accordance with article 2 of law number 14 of 2008 concerning public information that is available, quickly and on time, light and simple costs. This research is a study that discusses empirical law is a research that aims to see the law in the real sense and examine how the law works in the community. While discussing what is used in this thesis is done by using Sociological Juridical. In this research the main PPID of Banten Province is still not maximized in implementing these principles because it is still in large numbers in the implementation of this matter, because there are still many OPD that have not been integrated with the Information Management and Documentation Officer (main PPID), in the process of finding public information very convoluted first if the main PPID does not ask for this information must ask for information to the helper PPID and of course have to ask for time and money again. There are still many reports that respond in the process of responding to community information, which are not yet maximized in the process of requesting public information in the main PPID of Banten Province. HR who have not been able to manage public information based online. Not yet uniform, public information that is general that can be opened or excluded.
