  • ABSTRACK Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is the most important cause of morbidity and mortality in children, especially under 5 years of age. ARI can progress to pneumonia. Inhalation therapy is the administration of drugs by inhalation or inhalation in the form of an aerosol into the respiratory tract. Inhalation therapy is still the main choice for administering drugs that work directly on the respiratory system, especially the airway (Sapariah Angraini & Relina, 2020). The research design used in this paper is a case report. The purpose of this paper is to describe Ineffective Airway Clearing Nursing Care in Bronchopneumonia Children with Nebulizer Inhalation. This type of writing is descriptive analytic in the form of case studies using a nursing care approach that includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and nursing evaluation. Nursing diagnoses that appear are also in accordance with the theory that ineffective airway clearance is related to increased mucus secretion. The author prioritizes the diagnosis of ineffective airway clearance because if the problem is not handled quickly and appropriately, all the patient's needs will always need help from family and other people. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that there were similarities in signs and symptoms between the two children, including coughing up phlegm, shortness of breath, increased breathing frequency, fever, on chest auscultation, additional breath sounds (rhonchi) were heard, there was nostril breathing, chest indrawing occurred. decreased appetite and the child looks restless.
