- Background: It is estimated that typhoid fever in the world reaches 11-20 million cases per year resulting in approximately 128,000 - 161,000 deaths a year (WHO, 2018). Typhoid fever is an acute infectious disease that usually affects the gastrointestinal tract, with symptoms of fever for about 1 week. Associated with the problem of the ineffectiveness of thermoregulation is caused by Salmonella typhi bacteria that enter the gastrointestinal tract precisely in the small intestine and then enter the bloodstream cell damage occurs and stimulates releasing epirogen substances by leukocytes that affect the center of the thermoregulator Objective: this case study research is to carry out nursing care with the problem of thermoregulation ineffectiveness in patients with typhoid faver. Method: This case study is a study to explore the problems of nursing care for both clients with Typhoid Fever with Ineffective Thermoregulation. Results: After performing nursing care 3 x 24 hours by providing nursing intervention, the problem of thermoregulative ineffectiveness in clients 1 and 2 was resolved. Discussion: Clients with nursing problems thermoregulative ineffectiveness do not always have the same response, this is influenced by the client's duration of infection, the length of care, and the psychological condition of the client beforehand, so the nurse must perform comprehensive nursing care. Suggestion: Provide optimal quality of nursing services, especially in the action of axillary warm compresses for fever children.
