ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN RISIKO INFEKSI PADA PASIEN POST OPERASI CHOLELITIASIS DENGAN TINDAKAN PERAWATAN LUKA DI RSUD PROVINSI BANTEN

- Cholelithiasis is the presence of stones in the gallbladder caused by changes in the composition of bile and infections that occur in the gallbladder, as well as excessive cholesterol that settles in the gallbladder (F, Kurniawan, 2019). The surgery performed resulted in injury to the patient's body so that there was a risk of infection of the surgical wound. Surgical wound infection is an infection that occurs when bacteria enter the body through the surgical wound (Manohan, 2020). The purpose of this study was to determine the risk of infection nursing care in postoperative cholelithiasis patients with wound care measures at the RSUD Provinsi Banten. In the preparation of this scientific paper, the writer uses descriptive method with a case study approach, namely a method that collects data, analyzes, and draws data conclusions using interview data collection techniques, observation, physical examination, documentation and literature studies. This observation was carried out with 2 patients in the operating room with postoperative cholelithiasis. Interventions are carried out to prevent the risk of infection by taking wound care. The results of the implementation carried out in patient 1 and patient 2 for 3 days there were no signs of infection such as redness, swelling, fever, and unpleasant odor, as well as white blood cell levels within normal limits. It is hoped that from a case study of nursing care, the risk of infection with wound care actions taken will accelerate the wound healing process and minimize the occurrence of infection in the surgical wound.
