It is very important that information be shared with mothers in a very short time, so that mothers can plan well and know the problems that will be faced. Family Planning (KB) is a program launched by the government in an effort to increase awareness and community participation through maturing the age of marriage (PUP), birth control, fostering family resilience, increasing the welfare of small, happy and prosperous families. the current use of family planning in Banten is 6.14 percent, the proportion with the lowest use of family planning in South Tangerang city (50.6%) and the highest in Lebak district (71.1%). Meanwhile, the proportion of married women who have never used family planning is the highest in Serang (12.2%) and the lowest in Cilegon (7.7%). The purpose of this study was to describe and understand nursing care for post partum patients in meeting the knowledge needs of family planning with educational actions in the Wijaya Kusuma room at Dradjat Prawiranegara Hospital, Serang. The research method used is descriptive with a case study design. Keywords : post partum, family planning
