- ABSTRACT Hypertension is a condition in which systolic and diastolic pressures increase which are within normal limits (systolic pressure above 140 mmHg, above 90 mmHg). Hypertension is defined as a continuous increase in arterial blood pressure. The causes of hypertension according to the cause there are 2 types, namely: Primary primary hypertension, which includes heredity, age, and psychological factors. Secondary hypertension is kidney disease, tumors in the head cavity, neurological diseases and toxemia gravidarum. Families with hypertension if they don't get treatment will end up dying from a heart attack. That's why hypertension is often called the silent killer. As an alternative to prevention, Al-Qur'an murottal stimulants can be used as a new therapy as relaxation therapy, even better than other audio therapies because Al-Qur'an stimulants can generate delta waves of 63.11% (Abdurrachman & Andhika, 2012). In this study, the authors used the method of interviewing patients and making observations, namely making direct observations of the object of research to see closely the activities carried out.
