- Preeclampsia is a complication of pregnancy that has a triad of symptoms, namely: hypertension, proteinuria and edema. These symptoms occur in pregnant women, during labor and in the puerperium, the triad of preeclampsia can also be accompanied by convulsions to coma. Signs of vascular abnormalities or hypertension were not previously demonstrated in preeclampsia patients. Preeclampsia is a collection of symptoms in pregnant women characterized by an increase in systolic blood pressure ≥ 140/90 MmHg, high levels of protein in urine with gestational age ≥ 20 weeks. The problem of preeclampsia in addition to having an impact on the mother during pregnancy, childbirth, and post-delivery also has an impact on the babies born. This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of nursing care to clients with preeclampsia. From the implementation of nursing care that has been done there are differences in the provision of nursing care to preeclampsia clients, depending on several factors both internal and external. Nurses are expected to take comprehensive action and improve their skills in implementing nursing care, especially for preeclampsia clients. Keyword : Preeclampsia, Nursing care
