  • Abstract : Post partum is the period after giving birth or childbirth. The period of several hours after the birth of the placenta or umbilical cord until the sixth week after delivery, after birth which includes the following weeks when the reproductive tract returns to its normal state before pregnancy. Post-partum haemorrhage was defined as blood loss >500 ml through normal delivery, whereas >1000 ml for cesarean section. Postpartum hemorrhage is bleeding that originates from the implantation site of the placenta, tears in the birth canal, and surrounding tissues. Post partum bleeding is one of the important problems because it is related to maternal health which can cause death. Although a woman survives after experiencing postpartum hemorrhage, she will suffer from severe blood loss (severe anemia) and will experience long-term health problems. The maternal mortality rate in Banten Province is 189/100,000 live births. In 2016 the number of maternal deaths in Serang Banten City reached 11 people, the main causes of maternal death were bleeding 4%, infection 1%, hypertension 8%, abortion 0%, prolonged labor 0%, and other causes 4%. The purpose of this study was to describe and understand nursing care for hypovolemia in women with post partum bleeding with vaginal bleeding management measures in the Wijaya Kusuma room at RSUD dr. Dradjat Prawiranegara Serang Year. The research method used is descriptive with a case study design. Research result it was found that there was a significant difference, namely the cause of bleeding in the two patients was different, the cause of bleeding in the first patient was due to placental retention. Meanwhile, the cause of bleeding in the second patient was due to Portio Tear + Remaining placenta. The conclusion can be concluded that the author does not find any gaps between theory and case studies. Keywords : Post partum, Post partum bleeding.
