  • Patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) in Banten Province were 7,267 people, while in RSUD dr. Dradjat Prawiranegara Serang in 2021 as many as 378 cases. Congestive heart failure or medical language Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a condition when the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the tissue's needs for oxygen and tissue nutrients. Risk factors for heart failure are smoking, hypertension, hyperlipidema, obesity, lack of physical activity and emotional stress (Aspiani, 2014). The purpose of this study is to describe nursing care by fulfilling oxygen needs in patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). This study uses an approach method Nursing care starts from assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The method used is descriptive method. Data collection is through interviews with patients and their families, medical records and further studies. Actions taken to overcome the problem of ineffective breathing patterns in Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) patients are fulfilling oxygen needs by giving oxygen nasal cannula to patients as needed. The results of the study are that after the assessment, the data has changed after the intervention of providing oxygen or semi-Fowler's position, nursing implementation for 4 days, namely monitoring frequency, rhythm, depth, breathing effort and monitoring breathing patterns, the patient's breathing pattern improves. The evaluations obtained had several different results, patient 1 had the problem resolved on day 4, while patient 2 was partially resolved on day 4.
