- The implementation of action researchin the background of a problem is the low student learning learning outcomes in natural science and less active student in learning. This research aims to help teachers improve student outcomes learning and increase student activity. Cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type in natural science. Method of this research using class action research of Kemmis & Mc Taggart model. This research is 48 students of class III SDN Baketor. The research was conducted for 2 cycle, which each cycle is consist of 2 meets. The instrument used are test with 15 multiple choice questions, teacher and student observation, and teacher interview. The result of this research are outcome learning and activities student in science learning have increased, in the pre cycle student outcomes learning only 29,17%. Then in the first cycle student outcomes learning increased to 62,50% and student activity increased to 62%. But on this first cycle in student outcomes learning and student activity hasn’t reached of success indicator is 80%. And then, in the second cycle student outcomes learning increased again to 87,50% and student activity also increased to 86,50%. The research concluded that learning by using model of cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type to improve students outcomes learning and students activity in natural science.
