- he background of this research is badly services of the passport in the Immigration Office Class I Tangerang City because it still many complaints from the users related to the immigration service especially passport service. The aim of this research is to find out how big the effectiveness of passport service using Immigration Information System in the Immigrattion Office Class I Tangerang City. This research used effectiveness theory from Gibson’s theory contained indicator effectiveness namely productivity, efficiency, flexibility, excellence, development, and satisfaction. A method of the research is quantitative descriptive method. The samples of this research is 203 person with 7% standart of error and using accidental of sampling techniques. A technique used in collecting data namely by questionnaire, the study of documentation, literature study and observation. From this research obtained the effectiveness of passport service using Immigration Information System in the Immigrattion Office Class I Tangerang City is 71,44%. And it categorized good as it can reach the level of 70%. Advice of researchers is taking measurements of service performance and applying working target, improving planning, organizing, implementation and supervision service, improving socialization passport procedure, adding and maintenance equipment and infrastructure, procuring education and training to human resources, and provide services according to the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) applied
