- This study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) to the learning outcomes of students in social studies. The research method using a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling techniques, in order to obtain a fourth grade totaling 28 students as an experimental class and class IV B class numbered 28 students as control. Based on the data processing posttest results obtained from different test average of the two classes using t-test two parties at significant level ɑ = 0,05 obtained t> t table, namely 5,95 ≥ 2,00. As for the test of one party is right parties obtained t> t table, namely 5,95 ≥ 1,67. Thus, it can be concluded that the results of student learning using learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) There are different and better than students who use direct instructional model.
