- SITI ULFAH,Analysisof Student’s Mathematical Creative Thinking Ability in SolvingThe Plane Geometry Problems in Terms of Visual Spatial Intelligence and MathematicalLogic.A research paper of mathematic department, Teacher Training and EducationFaculty,Sultan Ageng TirtayasaUniversity, Serang, 2016. This research has a purpose to knowstudent’s mathematical creative thinking ability insolving the plane geometry problems in terms of visual spatial intelligence andmathematical logic. Instruments in this research are human instrument as a primaryinstrument who helped by visual spatial intelligence (KVS) test, mathematical logicintelligence (KLM) test, mathematical creative thinking ability (KBKM) test, andinterview direction. Datacollection technique which is used are technique and sourcetriangulation. Research subject is 36 students inVII grade ofSMPN 1 Cilegonwhichchoose maximal two students in each criteria of KVS (high, medium, and low) andKLM(high, medium, and low) combination. Theresult research are 1) students who have highKVSand highKLMhave creative thinking ability from product aspect in the best solvingthe plane geometry problems, 2) generally, students who haveKLMbetter thanKVSarehaving better mathematical creative thinking ability than students who haveKVSbetterthanKLM, 3) mathematical creative thinking ability from process aspect consist ofgenerating, planning, and producing levels, for students who balanceKVSandKLMrelatively, students have ability to solve the problems usingKVSandKLMat the sametime, to be done more than once, and balance, but they are on each levels, 4)mathematical creative thinking ability from process aspect, students who have KLMbetter than KVS use visual spatial intelligence earlier than mathematical logicintelligence in problem solving, although students who haveKVSbetter thanKLMusemathematical logic intelligence earlier than visual spatial intelligence.
