  • This research aimed to determine the effect of TTW (Think, Talk, Write) model ascognitive learning outcomes and students’ activity on human digestion system concept. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Mekarjaya Pandeglang on academic year 2015/2016. The method of research was quasi experimental with randomized control group only design. The population were of students’ in VIII class, with a sample of VIII D as an experimental class and VIII C as the control class used cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected by multiple choice test and observation sheet. The research result showed that the average score of students’ activityexperimental class and control class was 79,6end 68,3 at the good level and sufficient level.while the average score of students’ cognitive abilities was 71 end 66,5 at the sufficient level.
