- The purpose of this research is to know the effect of transformational leadership style on performance of employees, to know the effect of compensation on performance of employees at shares produce polypropylene PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk The research method used is descriptive method. The number samples used in this study was 54 respondents was calculated using the formula of Slovin. Then the data was analyzed using SPSS 20 For Windows, while hypothesis testing is determined by t test and F test. From the results of the discussion and statistical calculations obtained value of R = 0,587 with this show is the relationship between variables X1 (transformational leadership style) and X2 variables (compensation) to variable Y (performance of employees). While the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,319 means that the influence of transformational leadership style and compensation on the performance of employees is 31,9% and the balance of 68,1% influenced by other factors outside the study. From the test results obtained by the F count > F tables (13,386 > 3,18) then H0 rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that there is significant influence between transformational leadership style and compensation on the performance of employees at shares produce polypropylene PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk and obtained multiple regression equation Ŷ = 5,061 + 0,378 X1 + 0,375 X2.
