- This study aims to determine the effect on the job training (OJT), physical work environment, and competence on employee performance. Variables used are training on the job (X1), physical work environment (X2) and competence (X3) on employee performance (Y). In this study the type of research used is quantitative research using literature and field research such as observation, interviews, and questionnaires. With 42 samples of employees in the division HCD & LC PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk as respondents. For the method of multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS v.20. These results indicate that: (1) partially on the job training (OJT) positive and significant impact on employee performance with results tcount (2.809)> t table (1.684) using the real level of 0.05 then H0 rejected and Ha accepted , (2) Partially physical work environment positive and significant effect on employee performance with results tcount (2.807)> t table (1.684) using the real level of 0.05 then H0 rejected and Ha accepted. (3) In the competence of positive and significant effect on employee performance with results tcount (2.943)> t table (1.684) using the real level of 0.05 then H0 rejected and Ha accepted. (4) Based on the correlation test three variables have a very strong influence, which can be proved by r = 0.964 is in the interval from 0.80 to 1.000.
