- Drought is the condition of water deficit and abiotic stress which impact in production and can occur during plant growth. One of strategics to overcome the drought is using tolerant genotype against drought, selection is needed to get tolerant genotype against drought. The research was conducted in May-July, 2014 at Indonesian center of Rice Research, Sukamandi-Subang. The research consisted of three test, first test was drought test on PEG medium (6000) of germinal phase, second test was drought test on cement tanks of seed phase, and third test was root penetration test on paraffin:vaselin (60%:40%) of vegetative phase. The results showed that relative tolerant genotype from first test were HHZ12-ski-2-5-0kr-jk0, IR83142-B-79-B, Randa Gandih, IR61336-4B-14-3-2 (PBS RC94), Siak Raya and Botel, from second test were Zhongzua 1, Inpara 1, Salumpikit, HUA 565, HHZ8-Sal6-Sal3-Y2, , Inpari 10 and IR 64, HHZ15-Dt7-Sal4-Sal1, Randa Gandih and Botel, from third test were HHZ5-Y4-Sal1, Gajah Mungkur, and HHZ8-Sal6- Sal3-Y2.
