- his study in the background backs by low learning outcomes and student learning activities in subjects Indonesian. It can be seen from the results of the average value of student learning for story material hiatus. It is also seen from the results of the Middle Deuteronomy Semester (UTS) is low on the learning outcomes Indonesian, with the average value obtained 63.33% of students. This value is below the minimum value of completeness criteria (KKM) that is equal to 65%. So need much repair. One effort to improve learning outcomes and activities of teachers and students in subjects Indonesian. With Cloze Technique methods students can improve learning outcomes and student learning activities so that the Indonesian learning achievement. This study is a Class Action Research (CAR) is the research that aims to improve the learning process of students and teachers. Groove with the implementation of measures that form a cycle of planning, implementation of the action continued with the observation, reflection and then proceed further action plan. The subjects of this study were class IV Elementary School Citerep totaling 30 students. Research instrument in the form of student observation sheet, achievement test, observation sheet activities of teachers and students, images and supported by field notes. From the results of research can be concluded that the application of Cloze technique can improve reading comprehension skills in Indonesian Language in Elementary School Citerep. It can be seen from the results of the average value of the test results of student learning and teacher and student activities have increased. This indicates that mastery learning outcomes of students has increased from cycle 1 to cycle II. Cloze technique can improve reading comprehension skills in subjects Indonesian.
