- This study titled experimental application of the method in science subjects to improve student learning outcomes in light of the material and its properties in the class V. This research is done in the public school district Cibadak 5 district Cikupa Tangerang. Purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects by using the application of the experimental method, to increase the activity of student in science subjects by using the application of the experimental method. This study consisted of 2 cycles, each cycle 1 meeting, and consists of 4 phases: planning, implementation, observation, reflection using research instruments namely the observation sheet, written test and interview. Results showed that in cycle I students gain mastery of learning outcomes and increase of 63.8% in cycle II to 86.1%, besides the activity of students in cycle I was obtained by 60% and increased in the second cycle by 80%. This shows that the application of the experimental method can improve student learning outcomes.
