- This research is motivated by low ability students in fourth grade social studies lesson SDN Banjar Agung 4, so that the values obtained are also learning social studies students at low and student interest in learning IPS still lacking, many students who do not like subjects IPS. The purpose of this study is (1) to improve student learning outcomes using the strategi keep on learning in the fourth grade social studies lesson of SDN Banjar Agung 4. (2) to increase the activity of student using keep on learning strategy in the fourth grade social studies lesson on SDN Banjar Agung 4. The method used was Classroom Active Research in conducted in two cycles , each cycle includes: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collected by the test, observation. The research was conducted in SDN Banjar Agung 4 Serang. The subjects were 30 fourth grade students. The result showed that: (1) Keep On Learning strategy can improve student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the average values obtained students increasing, starting from the first cycle on the second cycle. The average value of the first cycle of students is 66 and the second cycle is 90. (2) keep on learning strategy can improve students’ learning activities, the average percentage of student activity by 70% the first cycle and the second cycle of 100%. Conclusions that can be drawn is that learning through keep on learning strategies to improve learning outcomes and activities of students in the fourth grade social studies lesson on SDN Banjar Agung 4 Serang, Serang District of academic year 2014/2015. And it is advisable for teachers to implement the strategy of keep on learning in social science learning to improve learning outcomes and student activities.
