  • This research was motivated by the low ability and disposition mathematical representation at one junior high school students in the City attack. Therefore, the approach to learning applied was Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs), because this approach is expected to improve the ability of students' mathematical representation and disposition. This study aims to determine whether the ultimate achievement and increased representation capabilities and dispositions of students receiving mathematical learning model approach Eliciting Activities (MEAs) are better than the students who received regular lessons. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with purposive sampling. Two classes were taken from all classes then the class as an experimental class and one other class as the control class. The instrument used is the representation of students' mathematical ability tests and non-test instruments in the form of scale mathematical disposition. The results of the research and descriptive and inferential statistical tests lead to the conclusion that the ultimate achievement and increased capacity and disposition of the mathematical representation of the experimental class students better than the control class.
