  • The purpose of this research is to improve students' affective learning outcomes in subjects Civic Education through the application of methods of Value Clarification Technique (VCT). The subjects of this study were 51 sixth grade students of SDN 2 Kramatwatu 2 District of Serang Banten Province. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was held on 2 cycles, where one cycle performed on 16 September 2014 and 2 cycles executed on September 23, 2014. The research method uses a spiral groove of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Data collection was conducted in this research is to use the test results of students' affective learning, and observation of students activities. The results of this study indicate that the pre-cycle tests of student learning outcomes is the average score of 70 with 43% completeness criteria. In the first cycle test results of students' affective learning in groups with the highest score of 80 and 40. While the lowest value is 3 complete and incomplete groups 7 groups. The expected target of 80% so that in the first cycle is not in accordance with the indicators of success. In the second cycle affective student achievement test groups with the highest score was 100 with 80% completeness criteria which means that the indicator has achieved the expected success. This study concluded that using Value Clarification Technique (VCT) can improve student learning outcomes.
