- Control the circulation of traditional medicine needs to be done by the Local Government and implemented so as to protect the rights of consumers. However, there is still a problem in the control of traditional medicine circulation so there traditional medicine in the market. The purpose of this study to determine and analyze control the circulation of traditional medicine by the Food and Drug Administration Center for Banten considering there are still many drug and food products made from medicinal chemistry (BKO), illegal, and expired circulating in the community. The theory used in this research is the theory of supervision of Joko Widodo. The method used is qualitative descriptive qualitative techniques. The final conclusion is that the surveillance conducted by the Center for Food and Drug Administration is not optimal, because the number of human resources supervisor who is still minimal, the lack of completeness of facilities, less inequality dissemination of information on traditional medicine and public warning and monitoring the concentration in one area. The advice given is to the filing of additional staff recommendation to BPOM central personnel agency, the use of social media to socialize, and the filing of an increase in the budget for additional means of transport.
