- This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of characteristics of local government (size, level of wealth, level of dependence and legislative) and the audit findings to the performance of Local GovernmentDistrict/City in Banten Province. The population in this study are all of local government in Banten Province during 2009-2013. This study uses purposive sampling method. The data in this study were processed using IBM software StatisticalPackage for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20. The method of analysis used is quantitative analysis, with multiple linear regression models. The result of this study indicates that level of wealth haspositive influence and significantto the performance of the Local Government District/City in Banten Province. While size, level of dependence, legislative, and the audit findings had no influenceto the performance of the Local Government District/City inBanten Province.
