- The purpose of this study is to analyze influence of partial and simultaneously the level of education and the rate of population growth toward gross domestic product in Indonesia. This research using multiple regression analysis. The dependent variable in this study was the gross domestic product, while the level of education and the population growth rate as independent variables. The data used is the time series data in the form of secondary data within a period of thirty-two years from 1982 to 2013. Test analysis used is multiple linear regression using partial statistical test (t test) with a 95 percent degree of confidence. F test and R2 measured by test (test of determination) Regression analysis showed that the variables education level and significant positive effect on gross domestic product in Indonesia. While the variable rate of population growth and a significant negative effect on gross domestic product in Indonesia.
