  • In this study conducted an analysis of the influence of the ambient temperature with parameter of methane gas (CH4) that aims to find out its effect on the production of biogas, for the benefit of the treatment and the production of biogas facilities at TPSA Bagendung Cilegon of Banten Province. From the data obtained by measurement of the gas composition of landfills TPSA Bagendung Cilegon in a period of seven days. The measurement is done from the Center terminal of the grid's built-in suction pump installation for gas landfills (Zone 1A – 1 c) stage 1. The result when the temperature range above 30oC methane gas content condition occurs which is quite stable. So when the gas gathering operations landfills can be done other maintenance process when the weather and the temperature of the environment decreases as the rainy weather or rainy evening post, where the results of the measurement of the gases that have potentially harmful is reduced and can minimize the work accident while collecting gas or repair the installation. The measured temperature of the gas composition influence the results varied in TPSA Bagendung. Good temperature range above 30oC when methane gas content condition occurs which is quite stable. The levels of methane gas (CH4) are continuing to rise in line with the increase in temperature until it reaches 13,89% at a temperature of 35-37 °C with an increase in temperature of 0,19%/°C
