  • Kontes Robot Pemadam Api Indonesia is a national robotics contest that consists of two divisions (legged division and wheeled division). Problem often encountered robot team at the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa on fire eextinguisher robotic is at sensor system. The flame sensor (UV TRON) or photodiode to detect the fire. Those sensors still has its disadvantages such as less respons, less accurate, and easily damaged. This research, an advanced research used a webcam as the sensor image capture, Raspberry Pi 2 (mini computer) and OpenCV is used as the image processing so that the robot can distinguish objects in the form of fire based on the difference value of room’s color and added Arduino Mega 2560 (serial with a mini computer ), C, Arduino Software, motor drivers (L298N and Dual H-Bridge Mosfet) and fan for actuators. The result shown a system can detect, identify the fire, and extinguished the fire with a fan at the optimum detection distance of 15 cm, in the normal mode without overclocking powerbank 1A output system can process images as 6,33 fps and response 2,11 s, while the charger output 2,1 A, the system can process as many pictures as 6.88 fps and response 1,93 s.
