- This research was aimed to determine the effect of think-pair-share cooperative learning model to cognitive learning outcomes and student’s motivation on the human respiratory system subconcept. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 11 Kota Serang on academic year 2013/2014. The method of research was quasy experimental with randomized control group only design. The population of students’ in VIII class, with a sample of VIII A as an experimental class and VIII C as the control class used purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from multiple choice and questionnaire of motivation. Analysis of hypothesis cognitive learning outcomes using t-test at significance level α = 0,05 and obtained significance value 0,000 < 0,05 it can be concluded that think-pair�share cooperative learning positively influence to cognitive learning outcomes.
