- This research is motivated by the lack of communication skills and the importance of self efficacy mathematical. Cooperative learning with student facilitator and explaining the model can be used as an alternative solution. The purpose of this study was to examine the achievement and improvement of communication skills and mathematical self efficacy between the experimental group and the control group. This study used a quasi experimental method. Sampling technique using cluster random sampling. The instrument used was a test communication skills, self efficacy scale, and observation sheets. Inferential analysis of the data performed by t-test on the right. The results showed that the final achievement and improvement of communication skills and self efficacy mathematical experimental group was better than control group
