- Nowdays many air conditioning systems used bigest energy and bad for health. One way of air conditioning was by usingthe installation of air conditioning. The aim of this research was to found out the influence of addition of air conditioner toward thermal comfort on the prestasi mesin labolatory. This research was conducted by comparing the initial conditions with the addition of air conditioning variants; Air Conditioning & 3 inhaust fan; Air Conditioning & 3 exhaust fan; Air Conditioning, 3 exhaust fan and open the door; 4792.72 W cooling load initial condition with the best variant of Air Conditioning & 3 exhaust fan 4750.91 W. The Value of PMV and thepercentage of PPD initial conditions 3.94 and 99.99 with the best variant variants air conditioning, 3 exhaust fan and open the door had a value of PMV = 1.375 and the percentage of PPD = 45.035%. The percentage of the initial conditions of relative humidity (RH) = 68.31% with the best variants and 3 air conditioning exhaust fan has a percentage of relative humidity (RH) = 65.72%.The addition of air conditioning has not been gave an impact in reducing the cooling load, has not been effective in improving the relative humidity (RH), but could enough to increase thermal comfort of Prestasi Mesin Laboratory although have not appropriate with the standard ASHRAE.
