- The purpose of this research was to know the concentration of NAA (ɑ - napthalenaacetid acid) and kinetin (6-furfurylaminopurine) Red Jabon plant (Anthocephalus macrophyllus) in vitro. The research was conducted started from June to August 2015 at Biotechnology Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Serang, Banten. Research was arranged in Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors. First factor was concentration of NAA with 4 levels (0 mg/L, 0.5 mg/L, 1 mg/L, 1.5 mg/L) and second factor was concentration of kinetin with 4 levels (0 mg/L, 1 mg/L, 2 mg/L, 3 mg/L). Therefore, there were 16 combinations of treatments, each treatment was repeated three times so there were 48 experimental units. The result of this research showed that concentration of 0.5 mg/L gave the best effect to root number and leaves number. Concentration kinetin 1 mg/L did not gave the best effect on all types of treatment given. Interaction between concentration of NAA and kinetin gave significantly effects to plant height, root number and leaves number.
