  • The Traffic flow around intersection of Jalan Banten and Jalan Ki Tapa in Serang City often make the conflicts causing traffic congestion. This road intersection can be catagorized into unsignalized intersection located in economic and education zones. The purpose of the study is to examine the performance of the intersections with the value of the capacity, degree of saturation, delays and opportunities quen, and the find the best solution to solve the problems that exist at the intersection. This study uses a Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 method, the data needed to analize the performance of unisignalized intersection includes primary and secondary data. Primary data is collected from road geometry condition, traffic volume and side constraints. The survey for collecting primary data was held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. Meanwhile data secondary use the number of population of citizen from Badan Stastitik Penduduk Kota Serang. The performance analysis result of unsignalized intersection on the initial conditions obtained capacity value of = 3316,74 smp/hour, 13,283 delay det/smp, queues opportunities ranging 25,711% - 51,101%, while the degree of saturation (DS) = 0,80. Once repaired obtained capacity value of 4209,566 smp/hour degree of saturation (DS) = 0,629 of the delay 11,45 det/smp, chances queue 16,458% - 34,298. Performance of unsignalized intersection for projection of 1 to 5 years a head, in 2016 the value of DS 0,718 by performance level B in 2017 the value of the DS becomes 0,821 with performance level to B, in 2018 the value of DS 0,937 by performance level C, in 2019 the value of DS = 1,07 by performance level C, and there are 2020 values DS = 1.22 by performance level E.
