- Public participation is needed in any development program both physically and socially. Development can not be achieved without the participation of the community. The Government has used the funds for the implementation of development programs but will never be achieved if society is not included in the planning, implementation, evaluation and utilization of development. This research was conducted in the village of Serang Cikeusal Sukaratu the District relating to Public Participation and the successful development of the first aims to determine the level of community participation in village Sukaratu Cikeusal District of Serang, both to determine the physical construction in the Village Sukaratu Cikeusal District of Serang and the third to know influence of public participation in the physical development in the Village Sukaratu Cikeusal District of Serang. The method used is an associative method, which is a study that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. In this study using sampling techniques in a way Slovin with samples 91 samples. The researchers used techniques in data collection are interviews, observation and questionnaires. The conclusion of this study a significant difference between participation to the success of physical development in the Village District of Cikeusal Sukaratu participation contributed to the success of physical pemangunan by 76.9% while the rest is a factor of age, gender, education and government that is open, responsible and sustainable
