- The research entitled the influence of learning model Think Pair Share for students cognitive abilities on the concept human respiratory system to the student class VIII Islamic Junior High School of Anwarul Hidayah Menes. The purpose of this research is to know is any influence of learning model Think Pair Share for students cognitive abilities on the concept human respiratory system to the student class VIII Islamic Junior High School of Anwarul Hidayah Menes. The method used is a quasi-experimental research design rancomize control group pretest-posttest. The sampel taken in this research is students class VIII B (experiment class) about 32 students and students clas VIII C (control class) about 32 students at Anwarul Hidayah Menes Islamic Junior High School which determine by cluster random sampling. The instrument used is a multi choice test. The result of this research that the average value of pretest experiment class is 49,7 with very less categories. While the average value of posttest after learning using learning model Think Pair Share about 78,4 including good category. The average value pretest control class about 45,3 with very less category, while the average value of posttest about 61,1 with enough category. Based on the result there are differences in cognitive abilities between the experiment class and control class. From this research conclude that the application of learning model Think Pair Share take effect for the students cognitive abilities on the concept human respiratory system.
