  • This study aimed to determine the effect of the use problem-based learning model (problem based learning) on learning outcomes of students. Dimensions measured include content (cognitive) attitudes (affective) and skill(psychomotor). The method used is a quasi-experimental design with randomized control group pretest-posttest. This study was conducted at SMPN1 Malingping class VII semester academic year 2013/2014. The sampling technique used for this study is simple random sampling. Data retrieval research by using multiple-choice objective tests, questionnaires and observation sheets affective. Analysis of the results of hypothesis testing using t-test at significance level α = 0,05. Based on the results of research conducted show that the cognitive abilities is 3,1 into good category, affective abilities is 3,34 and psikomotorik abilities is 3,6 all three are very good category. So it can be concluded that there is influence of the use of problem-based learning model (PBL) on student learning outcomes.
