learningmodeltoward student’s critical thinking ability in subconcept of the
human reproductive system diseases. The research method was a quasi
experimental with randomized control group onlydesign. The population of this
research was all students of IXclass SMPN 2 Pontang in school year 2013/ 2014,
the sample students of IX B class as an experiment class and students of IX C
class a an control class and which determined byrandom sampling technique. Data
collected by description test, questionnaire and observation sheets. Data analysis
technique used t-test to examine the hypothesis. Therefore, it can be concluded
thatproblem based learning model can effect toward the ability of student’s
